Chapter 1- Page 26

Hello all, and welcome back.

I know the break was a long one, but I plan to get right back on track here with the rest of chapter 1. If I had my way, I'd be updating more than once a week over the next month or so to catch up with all the lost time, but with my job I just don't think that's very realistic. But hopefully weekly updates from here on out. ^_^

As you can tell, Celeste has really taken an interest in these strangers. To her, it sounds like they lead such interesting lives, and they kind of represent everything she thinks she's been missing. Little does she know what she's getting herself into, though…

Thanks! Yeah, I'm still getting used to them myself... those tools are like a tempting seductress, I don't want to touch them but I [i]just... can't... resist![/i] ... Okay, maybe not the best analogy there. And actually, I created the whole character of Celeste to be somebody that I myself could really identify with, as kind of a main character that has the same personality, tendencies, and points of view that I do. Now obviously I'm a guy and she's a girl, so that's a major difference... but I hope she's a character that everybody can identify with. I like hearing people's stories too, everybody's got so many experiences...

I agree with Trevor - definitely a nice job on coloring - I love the dodge/burn tools, but I'm lousy with them. I'd be the same as Celeste - I'm always interested in people's stories.

Thanks! Over the hiatus, I discovered the wonders of Photoshop's dodge and burn tools. It's so easy to overuse them, but... they just make light and shadow so easy! Makes it a lot quicker to add more detail to everything.
