This page I'm still working with the whole coloring technique, experimenting around a little bit and whatnot. I also realized that I hadn't really thought about the environment at all beyond “just a bar in a large crowded room”, so I tried to do kind of an establishing shot in panel 1 to get a little better feel for where they are.
Some time has passed, and now it's late (25:58 because the station runs on a 28-hour day rather than a 24-hour one) and the crowds have begun to dissipate, time for the girls to go home… but Celeste and Vincent have really hit it off, it seems. I think Karen's picked up on that little fact as well >:)

Thank you! I do spend a long time on it ^_^ I think the addition of color was the one best decision I made on the comic. At first I wasn't sure, because doing a page takes so much longer now that even weekly updates are hard to do with my schedule, but I think it's really necessary.

It's time I set out for Ohio, friends. I've gotta go see my cousin's wedding, so there won't be another update until at least the 24th... but I plan to get a lot of art done for the comic on the way there and the way back. Hopefully bi-weekly updates (at least!) When I get back. Wish me luck.

OM NOM NOM! That's just what they sounded like, too. I imagine a gru is some stupid flightless bird. Isn't that what the name sounds like? In any case, it tastes like chicken. Because everything tastes like chicken.
