Carmen is an interesting case. She's on the job, no doubt (in fact I revised the final line of the last episode to help clarify her mission) but I think she's genuinely sweet on Renee.
Ah, Carmen - not Blythe. I'm glad to hear that. And Carmen is not a real spy either, if she reveals herself so quickly. But she sounds like a committed perpetrator.
