WOW! Now that's a HUGE update... So much work went into we can tell, from the compositing of imagery to the lighting and staging... So. Much. Work! So Well Done!
Okay, enough drooling over the technical details...
This as already mentioned I'm sure, really does 'fill in' a bit more of the 'family' vibe that they have and how it came about. Despite Maisy's uh.. Design parameters and her clear understanding of what the intent was behind her body. Bosley proved that despite his issues, he does have a strong sense of honor and does indeed see this young lady in a fatherly light and as such (like all good dads we know) just can't see her in a sexual light.
Naturally, not ever having that kind of relationship, Ivy has no idea how that can be. This is one of the things that has lead to such intense problems between our lovely red head and pretty much the rest of the planet. One can only hope her feelings for Maisy are strong enough to allow her to see what her lover does.
Great breakdown, UTBH! "Naturally, not ever having that kind of relationship, Ivy has no idea how that can be." Exactly. Ivy's history with human men has not been a good one. Plus she is yet another victim of Renee's misperception of reality, which she spread to each ands every doll who moved into the Boss's house. Ironically enough, only Echo--who at times seemed excessively pollyannic--saw the truth. As always, thanks for taking the time to read and analyze!
Ohhkay, about the plot:- as one who has daughters at exactly that age, I can very well understand the boss's fatherly instincts and fear of loss. But the kids are like arrows being shot. They have their own trajectory, depending on the prevailing winds, even if it's in the wrong direction from a parent's perspective. And yes, when they're not kids slowly growing and developing, but ready-made dolls who form adult bonds in a short time, the situation is infinitely tougher for the boss - but basically the same, I think. And Maisy is too much the copy of her "father" to remain nicely streamlined the dear baby she used to be.
Also, something that will come out later in the story is: Maisy is the equivalent of 16-years old. And Ivy 35. So who's really at fault here? The Boss? Ivy? Or maybe even Maisy, who really pushed the romance thing with Ivy? It becomes subjective.
The Duck isn't good with large scrolling pages. File sizes get compressed. There are a lit of ways around it without having another site, just have to figure out the one you want to do.

Excellent analysis, Othosmops! As Maisy's biggest fan you have clearly been paying close attention.

16 pages is by far the longest I've ever attempted. Unwieldly to say the least!

Wow, the opus magnum, new filmed! With a new, stunning Ivy actress?
Othosmops at 10:43AM, Aug. 14, 2023
LOL - That's why!

In this one Ivy is actually portrayed by the Ivy doll!
