Ooohhh... Those first bars of the soundtrack just send a chill of anticipation up your spine don't they! Great to see Kal flying! Very well done (again we say this), perfect choice of soundtrack... The only thing is the clip makes I look like his abilities are not inherently his, as if someone's using their magic to give him flight... Are you just trying to throw folks off with that or are you saying that Kal isn't Kal, but just some guy that got amped up by C-3000? Next, because we're sure you want to honest stuff... There was a flaw with the glasses, as they come off, flex and then vanish...? Hmmm... But, yes we know it's a work in progress... A certain Scribner is asking if it wouldn't be better if he was wearing... Less... A lot less... (they say you did promise it once in the past)... LOL!
Hahaha! Trust me, Kal will definitely have his scenes in the buff! Yes, these are just tests, we'll get the glasses figured out. Flaws liek taht can be easily ironed out. In the TV series, unlike the comic, kal and C3K go on a trip to Kansas to visit the home of fictional Superman. C3K knows Kal can fly and hopes the trip will give Kal more faith in himself. He is dubious about the whole flying thing so she gives him a "training wheels" gust of wind to show him what he can do once he's in the air. Kal is still skeptical, thinking it's just one of C3K's many practical jokes so, the next day he foes on the roof and tries it without her. We're been testing that scene and it will be linked in my posting later today. You guys/gals have been with this project since the begining so the streamer and I feel it's only right that you see what we're working on, even though it is only SFX tests at this point.
Cool! The scene with the house flyover has its Whoosh - “Back to the Future” moment! However, the weakness of the current AI also becomes clear in the glasses scene. The handling of objects only works well in very short sequences. (I remember some funny AI movies where people try to drink something). On the other hand, you could also leave the magnification and then dissolution of the glasses in Dolls Revolution as a stylistic trait and turn the error into a feature. For example, by making some clothes disappear in a similar way. Or like this.
yes, these are just tests. The glasses thing will be corrected and is an easy fix. Glad you liked it, Othosmops! See my response to our mutual friend, UTBH above.
