Thanks for looking! I appreciate it.
Comments from last week:
@DAJB - Thanks for stoppin' by. Those Mississippi River gods also like catfish. Lot's o' catfish.
@harkovast - Thanks for commenting on this page and the previous ones. I appreciate it. Hopefully this week's page makes things even murkier ; )
@chaves - I work entirely digital with Manga Studio and a Wacom Cintiq. I've been working that way for about 9 months and I don't think I'll ever go back to paper. I miss the tactile feel of paper and I love inking with a brush, but the advantages of digital, like perspective rulers and layers, far outweigh traditional media, IMHO.
@cyberdog - Heh. I can see your avatar sayin' that.
@mattchee - Thanks!
@thefightingstranger - Thanks for stoppin' by.
@Jabali - I appreciate it. Thanks.
@armandoB - Thanks, man.
@machinehead - Thanks for your continued support.
@darkwaterfrey - Cool, ‘glad you like it.
@amanda - Yep. Jon better watch out – A fella’ should always always protect his stones when his wife's mad at him. That's what I always say. ; )
@khard12 - Thanks. The Mississippi River is hogging all the gods by the way. The Missouri only has one.
@Aghammer - Thanks. I've never read Riverworld. I'm not a very big reader – that's why I draw comic books : ). I'll have to check those books out, however.
@TheMidge28 - Thanks. I appreciate it because writing is really hard for me.
@Doctor Shadow - Thanks again.
@plymayer - thanks for stoppin' by.
Anyhow, keep on keepin' on. . .

Nice one. Interesting setup for work you have there. Those cintiq are just too good. I use SAI, but it lacks some key tools for perspective and straight lines, so I must do all that freehand. Anyway, I think I prefer it over Manga Studio after all. Cheaper, faster and to the point.

I love the shadows on the guy's face in the second panel
Jabali at 5:05PM, May 19, 2009
Hey! I'm also hooked with the story, lol.
TheMidge28 at 6:15AM, May 19, 2009
your writing although hard is fantastic and only makes this work exceptional with your art.
mattchee at 11:38PM, May 18, 2009
Awesome. Diggin the transparency effect in the first panel. Its a difficult thing to pull of in pure black and white (i know, I've failed so far!). So, bravo!
darkwaterfrey at 5:24PM, May 18, 2009
wow! This is utterly captivating!
machinehead at 2:39PM, May 18, 2009
Her turning into a lawyer in a power suit, that is a hell creature.
khard12 at 12:50PM, May 18, 2009
Looks like she's turning into a corporate exec. Oh the horrors! Another great page.
The Gravekeeper at 11:27AM, May 18, 2009
I'm serious when I say that you should get this published when you're finished. I'd snap up a copy in an instant!
literacysuks1 at 10:09AM, May 18, 2009
Man. The art just gets better and better. Sorry I haven't been commenting...I planned on coming back and reading through a couple chapters in a straight shot once you have them done, but I have been looking at the purty pictures.
armandoB at 9:04AM, May 18, 2009
interesting. can't wait for the next page
amanda at 8:55AM, May 18, 2009
Pants suits always indicate demon possession. That's what I've been taught, anyway. Wow, killed her master, huh? Must be some sort of rite or passage? Or maybe she's just a jerk.
Aghammer at 6:12AM, May 18, 2009
Beautiful page my friend! The ghosty guy in the first panel is so well done. And I'm not sure she is making the right decision here!
Doctor Shadow at 2:19AM, May 18, 2009
That's such a brilliant transitional sequence, got to agree with plymayer there.
plymayer at 11:15PM, May 17, 2009
Nice transparency look in panel 1. I like the transition in panels 3 & 4.
