Thanks.....I am not ashamed of my love of Kirby. He might not be popular nowadays with the youngin's...but its fun to draw....and thats all I care about.
Only 3 years have passed. Look at the technology the knights templar had, while fighting the demon wars. This world is basically a cross between tatooine, and camelot, done as if Jack Kirby designed it.
As for the publishing, Since it is being published in a "Manga" size and format, I think I should be able to get away with it being in b/w....besides, I once published a color comic in the 90's....it cost me almost 9,000. My orders were around 14,000 copies, but it still was a major cost for me. I REALLY can't afford a big full color bill...so I have to do it the old fashioned way....and hope it sells enough to do more.
3 or so years?? More like 30,000 or so years!
How are you publishing this book? As black and white? If you're going so far as selling print, IMO it's premature. I'm sure you can find a colorist who will help for free or for cheap.
Alternatively, surely you can learn CG coloring. It's not that hard to learn CG color to simulate basic flat comic books coloring, or basic cel shading. Get a Tablet or a Cintiq to do it, though.
