Fusion #16 Page 72

Here's page 72 of Fusion #16, which brings this issue to a close. Next issue will finally return to the cliffhanger that ended Issue #14, as well as end the “Oblivion Rises” story arc that started in Issue #12.
Hard to believe that this mini-arc of the last two issues I originally thought would take 25-50 pages to tell, and here we are over 100 pages later (with even some surprises for me).
As is the norm between issues, I'll be taking a brief hiatus–probably around 2 months–before launching into Issue #17. Scripting is already underway (prologue scripting and rough outline are already done), and I'll likely be uploading some Fusion-related content periodically in the interim.

So I started rereading the comic since it’s been so long since I came across it. Why can’t Pharoman use his pheromone powers to attract females? If he can manipulate pheromones just using it to attract those of the same gender is a waste. Pheromones are used to both attract and repel other organisms. Pheromones can cause aggression or calmness. The guy seems to be unintentionally limiting himself

With Bob's kind, there seems to be a sort of yin/yang to their kind. You have Fusion/Fission (Fracture), and in the case of Penelope (attracting males), she likely has a "male" counterpart whose energy would attract females. Pharaohmoan's powers aren't really a chemical pheromone but a "pheromonic energy" that he can emanate, thanks to being fused with Penelope.

Always enjoy a good "heroes charge into battle" group shot.

Yep. That's the one. Not to worry. There'll be a bit of a summary at the start of next issue. Turns out the slide back to reality from the Space Out of Time is a bit disorienting, and readers aren't the only ones who'll be taking stock of the situation.

that grin on CS's face seems rather off for losing his sister in the transition

Not supposed to be a grin--just kinda open-mouthed--but I can see it now that you pointed it out. Might have to touch up the image.
