Ed's philosophy is “Treat your comic with a healthy amount of disrespect.” In contrast to me, who is too close to the characters. I mean, look what he did to the Flash Gordon already, in chapter 1 of FIGHT! That's not part of my script.
I would have never caricatured Nuada's face like *that* (above). His response was “Nuada's a putz.”
A lot of Nuada's dialogue is awkward. This is intentional. I often break down and beg Ed to allow me to improve it. He stops me.
