The topographical map in panel 3 is supposed to illustrate Nuada's enhanced brain. He already said it: there are internal data nodes his brain can access directly.
Nuada is a character originally chosen by Ed during the conceptualization of FIGHT 1. At first I was like “Wot no wai that's st00pid.” Then I was “Wait holy **** this is gr8!”

Another good page. I don't know if that was on purpose of not but I find it quite humorous that after all the panels of people cut off from the eyes up you have one that cuts off from the lips down. "Terrifyingly(SP) cute!"
