Here comes the dream story! Part uno.
This page by me. The reason this page is small is because I felt the dream story sequence flows better as single-panel mini-pages. Don't worry it's not an excuse for me to slack off with 1 panel per week. Next update should be very soon.
The BG is going for a medieval woodcut feel. I sacrifice the clarity of the original lineart to achieve that feel, but it's worth it. Also, the dragon is drawn to emulate medieval concepts. If I was drawing my own dragon, it'd have accurate dinosaur muscles etc. This one has outdated/quaint features like dog lips, spear tongue, fish scales, etc. Even the fire I had to research, heh. No Pokemon dragons, sorry! It's Chase's dream, after all.
Read the companion comic FIGHT 1; both stories take place in the same world.

She looks pretty. Well done. I love the shading on her face and collar bone ^-^

@ Pat: As long as it has that storybook flavor of a different era. Gotta always show that her out-of-time-ness (lol word) isn't just armour deep. @ JNP: King Arthur kept a cute little dare. Every year at the feast of Pentecost, he wouldn't eat anything until someone/something shows/tells him "a great marvel." He digs that stuff.

Chase is all smiling as she tells of the creatures cowering in terror of the dragon. I'll laugh if Nuada is scared from the story.

Don't take this the wrong way but I don't think it looks much like a woodcut. Most woodcuts I've seen have chunkier, more angular lines and rather simple details. It's a cool dragon anyway.

Interesting. I look foward to seeing where this is going.
