01-13: Basalt and Bones

I think I was going through a dark phase here… HA HA HA HA… oh dear. Drawing “blackness” is annoying, and I know now the “smoosh” tool was not cool. But such things have been applied to future pages.

The lighting effects in the first two panels are just awesome. And, yes, I probably commented about that originally, too. Hmmm...my comic? I'd say it's hiding, all ninja-like.

She's be like Robin Willaims in Mork and Mindy ^_^ That candle looks really cool. Hmm blackness is hard with pencil. Charcoal is better, or white pencil on black paper. Love her hand and the square paterning of all the cut and pasted cross hacthing is quite a lovely efect!
