Does this clear anything up? Anything at all? Out of curiosity- what questions do people have?
Clearly Hawle keeps her crew pretty much in the dark. (No pun intended) Wolfe is a little more.. shall we say… “open” with his crew.
ejb drew me an awesome inking of Hawke wich will have to go up at some point when I don't have time to update. ALSO: Fated Feather cast members are being used against their will in Gnoph! Go see the beginning of what should prove to be a very hilarious chapter.
Hawks sillouette looks SO much like you it's awesome!! She's got that frowing-even-when-she's-smiling thing going on!
I can't say if this clears anything up, because I know too much already.
So instead I shall say - I THINK it clears everything up!
ejb: I was worried about their profiles- I'm glad you think they came out a-okae.
Alejkhan: Are you Santa? I want a pony!!
Ashlee: Graci! ^_^
Kalliikak: Hmmmmm. I guess I half expected people to say, "I still don't get anything. You explained nothing you stupid comic writer you!" But it seems I have this area under control for now.
As to your thoughts on "day moons" as they are called- the topic has been perused by Mina Lunga and myself at length over cups of tea and we determined that it has more to do with intensity and heat. The moon just plain isn't hot- but during the day it might take on some of the sun's heat. At any rate, she probably doesn't use the moon too often because it gives her less 'exact' times than particular stars with wobbly orbits do. Does ~that~ make sense? -_- Phew, who made up this comic?
hmm... hard to say what questions i have. cause they don't seem all that important really. and because the story in this comic is coming along so well that i don't worry about what i don't understand, i trust it'll all come together.
i do wonder though, since there are times you can see the moon during the day, would hawke be able to move to a point in the day if the moon is visible? granted, that would still only let her travel to evening hours (never seen the moon in the morning, have i? i haven't seen a morning in a long time. maybe hawke should just go to bed earlier *grins*) or am i suddenly thinking about it all too literally. i think though, that since they both move outside of time, it really wouldn't matter if hawke went back to the exact same moment wolfe went too... he wouldn't neccesarily be there.
and, since you asked, out of curiousity, what questions do you think we should have? or, rather, what questions are you worried we have? hehe
Ah, neat. Everything's starting to come together.
I love the last two panels. Besides the great contrast and symbolic elements, their profiles make them look real. I like the Captain's nose, especially.
