Frogman on Jan. 19, 2008
And so… Frogman is now launched. 12 people favourited it before it was even launched, so I hope it was worth the wait.
A little description about this cover. I'm kind of doing it like a real comic, with issue covers, except just calling them chapters. I like my covers to vaguely reflect what's inside the book.
So, the main characters from left to right are - Peter Miller (a science type guy and father of our next character), Steve Miller (alter ego of Frogman), Lisa Szewczyk (pronounced: Shewr-check - The girlfriend of Steve), Julie Miller (Steve's mum) and Dean Miller (Steve's younger brother).
The background is the city of Melbourne. The tallest building to the left is Eureka Tower.
And obviously that's the Frogman mask slightly watermarked over the top of the background.

Wow, thanks Walkingman. Less than a week and Frogman's already got 2 theme songs. You know, a song competition might be a cool idea down the road. Hmmm...

Yep. When I did the Frogman story in Ultimate X, that was like a 4 page version of about 100 issues (yeah, I wrote a heap of outlines years ago). Telling the origin in one page sucked though.

osom man! :D I dig those backgrounds! it reminds me of my city's bay area. Also, his girlfriend is totally hot. The scientist reminds me of that time you included frogman in UX... is it related to it?

jkarguth - Thanks mate. Composition was one of the things I really took into consideration when designing the cover. Author - Sarcasm? Dez - I hope so. Just depends on how I go with Ultimate X and job hunting. If it gets to be too much Frogman will be bumped back to fortnightly. SympleSymon - I hadn't heard of Kamen Riders before, but upon googling them, yeah, I can see why you'd think that. Dangerface - Thanks man. The city was the hardest part of this page, I reckon. I hate using rulers.

Hey, looking good! Can't wait to see where this goes - for now, let's just say Frogman reminds me of the Japanese 'Kamen Rider' series (like Power Rangers, but all the suited heroes look like beetles - which is what Kamen is Japanese for, I believe)
