@bravo1102: In my opinion. Heavy Metal lost its edge when Julie Simmons-Lynch stepped down as editor-in-chief, which was just slightly before that time.
@ KimLuster: The brush and ink technique was frustrating to me because I see everything in smooth gradations. The second issue was all done in watercolor, which suited me much better.

I really love this. It feels like something that would have been printed in 2000AD or Heavy Metal back in the day. Awesome inking work as well.
