Okay I got that out. This page took FOREVER! Forever!! It was a battle all the way. First the pencils I were using (I have to use mechanical as I press hard so I need them to have a sharp point all the time, yeh?) broke. Pretty much every pencil in the house. Then the stairs panel was being a PAIN (still not happy with it). Then I went to digital ink, and did some messing around there to get it right. (Had to redo the stairs a couple times.)
Then when I went to colour it I ran into difficulties with ‘colours’ blocking or not working so that things were discernible. (I had to go back and change the colour of a few things to make them work on both pages, which is something I actually thought would have happened before now.) The back grounds are really simple on this page because even if I put a little bit of bg it made everything too busy.
Still not happy with it. But I'm just like HAVE TO POST IT AND TREK ON. I'm hoping the next page won't be so difficult. For my own sanity.
@curlpop YAY! Yeh! I have to admit I didn't know where you had gone. I'm glad you read it and enjoyed. :D!
@Sei Your leg drawing skills are prety good!! I know that artists are the hardest on themselves, but that's partly what drives creativity. So you'll get the hang o' legs!
@Derkomai Thank you! It's something I am still working on. I used to try and just draw beautiful people. I call that the "Greek mythology phenomena". In Greek mythology every god/goddess is the MOST beautiful. But why not? If you have the imagination to colour your world with deities, why not make them gorgeous? Perhaps nice to look at, but it's Greek MYTHOLOGY not Greek reality. (... what the hell am I talking about.)
Anyway. YEAH. Still something I'm working on, I don't have the variety I'm looking for but a lot of these characters are old so they still retain some characteristics of my everyone-must-be-gorgeous days.

To my untrained eye this comic looks very good. I assume you see something wrong with it, but it can't be anything big. I hope you can also see all the things that are _right_ with it.

I like the page, I'm sure your travails will have imbued in you knew knowledge to quickly avert some of the things you had trouble with here.
I don't know if anyone's said it yet, but I think it's overdue from me anyway; the fact that you aren't afraid to give some of your characters less appealing bodily features should be praised, too many people-- including myself (cough)--just make everyone in their cast super-beauties. Sure, you want everyone to love every cast member, but you don't want to have to work for it, basically.
So through your characters actions, I'm sure we'll end up probably even cheering on these characters over the pretty-blessed ones.
You know. Like in real life.
