when I did these pages, back in ‘94, I was on fire for anything Sergio Leone…..So I tried to do that with my close-ups of nasty, dirty, faces, which, was one of his trademarks.
Here, a group of no good varmits talk about doin’ some crime….Hades style.

Um, now that I think of it I'm not clear of its exact meaning. I just throw it around a whole lot. To me it is "Nasty in a good way."

That man needs a manicure - STAT! (I think grody is supposed to be a cross of gross and dirty...but don't quote me on that...on a side note, my mom has a Kermit sticker in her cookbook that says "Grody to the Max" next to a tuna cassarole she hates.")

I have not heard that word in a LONG TIME. What exactly is Grody? It is a combination of Gross and.....?
