A few more pages until the end of this chapter….then, the story gets cool, at least in my opinion. I have re-read it for the first time in 14 yrs or so, and It seems to stand up pretty good….not so much the art, but there are things in it that I really like alot. I guess I was just in a completely different mind frame back when this was first produced.

I like that the Xenomorph style tail is embedded into his scalp. Nice touch.

Wow - so many cool ideas, all wrapped up in one page-size package. Love it!

If the host died, the Elder would find a new host.....if it could. Full grown Elders have no enemies, but young elders, like Zay Nirr, has hundreds of enemies that would like nothing more than to find the Elder away from a host, unprotected. Jerimiah has a desire to survive, no matter what. There is a cosmic mystery inside of Hades, that he is drawn to.

Another thought - is there any way short of dying to rid oneself of the elder god?

I figured they start off, helpless in this "Lobster" form, then, if they survive to adulthood, would grow into a completely different thing.........then again, this is a MESSED up world....so maybe the whole place IS run by Lobster men from the planet Crab rangoon.

The elder god looks like a shrimp/lobster. *contemplates* I bet I'm allergic to him. An interesting concept, though.
