Thanks for your suggestions... I'm not necessarily at odds with the fact that many of my scripts turn out wordy, though I realize it may not be for everyone. It all boils down to coming up with a good layout in the end. MrHades: I'll often do it this way as well, depending on how much text I'd have to fit in. But I always regard text as being part of the layout, so I deal with it in the layout stage. To me, speech bubbles and captions are as much part of the artwork as everything else.

Really like the costume design on that fella. I have had problems with fitting in wording. I know design the page and set the text before I start drawing, so I know much or little space I have.

Personally, I like wordy comics. I'm not a big fan of decompression...as anyone who reads my comic can tell. Still, you might adopt a rule a lot of old-time comic book writers use---no more than 25 (Stan Lee) to 29 (Alan Moore) words per panel. When you have to reduce the font size to accomodate everything, you know you're going a little too far. Like the art, great dialogue. Just some advice from one wordaholic to another!

As I said on deviantart, nice work. I guess this'd be something to cover in the script stage...but I'd suggest dividing the wordy pages into more panels. With 7 or maybe 8 panels all the word balloons might be easier to process as you move from panel to panel, but right now there are so many balloons per panel that my eye gets a bit lost looking for a reading order.
