I'm probably the only one who's a stickler enough to care, but I know that it's actually supposed to be the Dragon that summons the Beast from the ocean and not the Dragon rising from the sea himself in Revelation, but even the old medieval manuscripts would get the Beast and the Dragon scrambled up sometimes (such as the woodcut I used as a model) and since this story is simply heavily influenced by interpretations of the christian apocalypse and not the event itself (note the lack of rapture since people are still around to concoct and tell the story) so I felt no problem with combining the Beast and the Dragon into one figure. Ok, geek moment over, if you didn't understand a word of I just said, don't worry, it was very nit-picky.

I was thinking the same thing. Looking back at this page, I still think it's the coolest dragon ever.
