I seriously debated on having Trainer retaliate, but being three thousand years old he should know when to keep his temper in check. Of course you know that the color of his shirt dictates his mood, I stole the idea from Joff's Chaos but I won't go to the same extreme that he did. I might use some noise and blur and “plastic wrap” to show him really ticked off, but no psychedelic crazy shirts, and definately not as random as his. Mine will maintain a theme of sorts.
I'm trying out a new motion technique, duplicating the layer, smudging it a little then lowering the transparency, tell me what you think.
Oh yeah, here's an awesome photoshop CS3 tutorial about motion lines, which is how I made the ones in this and the previous one. Make sure you read everything, part of it is easy to miss.

Ghostrunner: It's not that I don't like doing backgrounds, theyre a fun challenge it's just they are in Alex's mind, most minds are not organized and to show that I chose a simple cloud background.

the layer trick works. what also works is to use the magic wand to isolate the charicter then invert it. then i wack away with the smear tool until i have some smooth but oddly vilent swings
