155 Magic Explained
Xade on Nov. 10, 2009
Apparently I can manage weekly updates. Ive been working on a few things with my laptop while visiting Dad like custom 3d objects, primarily when Dad is sleeping, which is actualy quite often. He's trying so hard to get up and do things but no one will let him that it breaks my heart. If only he would work with them and not fight them h would be so much further than he is right now.
Anyhow, on with comic related news. I'm going to give Alex a tour of the outer planets of Questa; not only will he need to know about the two planets for the future but it's interesting and time consuming. Hopefully, by the the time Alex gets where he is going Dad will be back home and I can work full time on the comic, making all the cameos, an everything else that I need to finish the caper. Anyway, see you next Wednesday :)
PS: here's the cameo caper hub http://www.dragoneers.com/halloween2009/

Magic is just science we can't understand.

Your dad isn't really trying to fight them Xade. If what I think is correct, (Being a dad myself.) he trying to show himself that he's still a useful part of the family and not a burden. Dads feel that it is their role to be the strong one, the safe harbor in the storm of life. When something happens to take that away it hurts not just physicaly, but mentaly too. By trying to do things himself he is trying to prove to himself that he is still the strong one that the family can turn to when things get rough. I hope this helps. Best wishes to you and your loving, yet stubborn dad. :)

Also, do you know how complicated must a artifical neural network (set up by evolution) be to provide behaviour which can't be found from its parameters unless you "run" it? ....... 5 neurons. Good luck understanding human (or Xadeian) brain.

Darius Drake: Not exactly true. Look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaos_theory - if something like that will be in magic's manipulation of energy (and it probably will), science will be unable to reproduce it even if it fully understand the principles.

Hey, all Science needs to do is find out how Magic is manipulating the energy. Then it can copy it for the same cost, AND explain it.
