This one's not really funny. But I thought it necessary to show how John GOT his idea to become a nature guide in the first place. Plus I wanted to try using those little sparks in the GIMP. (My house exteriors seem to be a little crooked.) *SIGH* :P
{EDIT} Another re-drawn one! You can see the original HERE!
An Epiphany! (I think I spelled that right).
Some strips aren't rip-roaringly funny, but like you basically said, sometimes a strip has to be used to set up a storyline. I get where yer coming from.
Not especially funny, but a nice introduction to Remy all the same. Gosh Kid, you know your facts! I can't even tell the difference between a robin and a hawk. :P

Thank you Steely Gaze. And thank you Floodgatemartyr. All comments are truly appreciated ;) Next character you'll get to meet is Robin!

Thank you nigbun! (I hope to have Marco show up in many future strips.) Along with Remy that is. ;)
