I Play With Crayons!

While out walking through the mall today I happened to see a kid wearing one of those shirts with the “witty” phrases that used to be cool because almost nobody had them, but have now become so common-place that we all have the phrase memorized. The particular one I happened to see was one which stated, “you're not the brightest crayon in the box.” So looking at this amazing cliche, I decided, would it not be better to create something based from this shirt that's a little more original? Then I got distracted by the Hot Topic store, specifically the amazing variety of shirts with ripped off slogans and artwork within Hot Topic ( I'm afraid to go in. I think my legs might stick to the floor permanently were I to step in the store. ). later while I was sitting there in the mall doing drawings of people as they passed for some practice, I decided to take these old captions and see if there was any way at all to make them sound more intelligent and less over-used by approaching them from a different perspective. Whether or not I succeeded with this one, I'll leave up to you guys.

I'm currently working on merch guys. It's just a matter of me coming up with the money to start. I'm already looking into printers for shirts, trying to find a cost effective one that will still produce quality stuff. If anyone at all has a suggestion for a printing company that meets those criteria, let me know.

FYI: Laura has started turning some of your images into wallpapers and stuff. You certainly need to start merchandising here. People will buy it!

Oh that's so cute, he reminds me of my old Dandelion crayon from my crayola box when I was a kid. I never liked crayola as much as my Prang crayons because those were made from real soybeans. There were even those really cheap crayons with waxy flakings that I would use just for the heck of it.
