Broccoli tastes good with beef!

For almost my entire life, every time I've had something I don't want to do or some minor misery my father would always tell me “it builds character” ( In his opinion, anything short of a missing limb or damaged car just built character. ). I never really did find out what the heck he was specifically referring to when he said character or even what it really was, but I do know one thing: whatever the heck character exactly is, I have a lot of it. I have it coming out from every pore on my body ( I think that mental picture is enough to secure my spot as a bachelor. ). My best guess, judging from the number of times I've been hit in the head by various flying objects, slapping hands, portions of '67 buicks, etc., is that character is like brain damage; only more manly and rugged. Which quite frankly, sounds pretty accurate. After all, were it not for the brain damage caused by some of the first character building experiments I partook in, I doubt I would have done so many more of the things that built up my character to the level it currently is at.
