Does anyone else hear a horrible screaching noise?

I'm not necessarily against rap music, but so far as obnoxious noises go, that particular genre holds a pretty big lead over most others. The only exception perhaps being the musical performance STOMP, which has all the musical quality of a bunch of 10 year olds pounding away on the neighborhood garbage cans. Somehow, I always recall that when I did such a thing as beat on random metal objects or play with a record player, I ended up with a good smack to the back side. But apparently, once you pass a certain age and begin to truly understand “culture”, such things as beating on garbage cans becomes a valued behavior ( As I have said before, I have little appreciation for this sort of “high culture”. ). So I can fully sympathize with Zombie, being the rather intelligent creature he is, ( Talking alone puts him miles ahead of other zombies. ) not particularly finding the amazing blend of noises akin to a small mammal trapped in an operating garbage truck, and brilliant use of the various vocal tones connected to the word “bitch”, all that appealing. Now this is not to say all rap is bad, I just haven't heard anything that sounded otherwise. I guess that pretty much puts me in the same category as a lot of old people.
And if that's so, so be it. I made up for it today by participating in National No Shoes day. The basic premise being much like Improv Everywhere's No Pants Day, namely being to go through the entire day without wearing one's shoes and feel the ground beneath your feet. Which is actually a very pleasant experience. It's almost like an entirely new sense, actually using your feet to feel things rather than just feeling the soles of your shoes. And while the turnout at my school wasn't too amazing this year, ( It wasn't exactly advertised much. ) I have high hopes for next year's No Shoes Day. I hope that maybe even some of you guys might be interested yourselves. Because at least that way, you can't complain that my feet stink.

i would if i could, but work would kill me if i didnt wear my shoes to work.... also i have a dislike for rap, and only feign intrest when i'm drunk at the club and wanting to dance with that girl over there...

Eh, eating his brain might be worse than he bargained. I'm not a fan of rap, myself. I mean I can listen to a few songs for a bit but too much just stresses me out. International No Shoes Day sounds interesting, I just don't know how to start one up in my area.
