Something smells like dog food...

This is a little closer to the comic I'd ideally like to be producing every day. Unfortunately I don't often get the time it takes me to do something like this ( And I even ended up getting a little rushed this time anyway. ). But I hope to slowly, slowly move towards trying to make more like this one. In my effort to do that I'm considering moving to a 5-a week update schedule permanently rather than switching back to my every day schedule so I could at least try to get a little more put into one or two of them at the beginning of the week. I still have some thinking to do on it, and I'd like to hear you guy's opinions on the idea. I have some ideas I want to start putting into play for showing a little more of their world around them, and I'm thinking that having that extra day or two might bump up the quality of the art a bit, and that's something I've been concerned with a bit lately. I feel like I can do better and I don't like to feel like I can be giving you guys better and not be doing it.

As for the content today, I've been waiting for an excuse to bring back the pygmies for another comic. I had a lot of fun drawing their masks the first time around and I wanted to do it again. They really seem to get off on this whole sacrificial bit. Last time they were burning chibis, now they're boiling chicles. Strangely, I find them some of the most cute and lovable characters in Last Words (As opposed to Emo Panda who seems to be everyone else's favorite. Or at least the girls favorite. ). I mean, how can you not find the little savages adorable? They get so excited at the prospect of hanging people over a fire and watching them roast. It brings a tear to my eye.

In any case, it's time for me to go sacrifice a few things myself. They're called sugar cubes I think. And the coffee gods love it when they die.

Today's comic on DA.
