Alright! Double page spread FIN!
I had a lot of fun with this so it didn't take as long as expected!
Like i said from now on the story should pick up a little, I'm not thinking of this webcomic as many might, i'm treating it as I would a Manga if i were doing a chapter a week like in Japan.
By that i mean that i'm not trying to make a predictable story, it's not all sunshine and above all i won't sacrifice pacing in order to get the plot points and suprises out there as soon as possible (Normally webcomickers don't have a choice as we don't get paid and so just end up throwing everything we've got out there to try to pull in new readers ).
Although IMO the downside to throwing everything out there and sacrificing pacing is that you give the reader less time to care about the story and characters which makes these “big plot points” to some extent redundant. In other words i believe they wouldn't have the impact that they would had they been done at a pace that suits the story as opposed to the creators tight schedule.
Any thoughts on this?
Please read comment if you have a spare moment! 8D

Well, I think webcomickeers are generally just inexperienced story writers; they're just mostly artists. Webcomickeers see what they've liked from comics and try and do as much as possible of that--yes, skipping the "cool downs" and trying to make every page INTENSE and DRAMATIC, may that be in new plot or action, or whatever... There is the other side, of course. Put in boring panels and pages which have nothing to do with progressing the story or information or mood or--basically if your story doesn't need it, it's probably not a good idea to have it in there. So we need to place charging up the Mood for a cool down while we wait to give a question that the readers want answered, or...stuff. Really, I wish I was an expert, I think I'm just rambling. Very nice spread!

love the impact of the black on this page. You really get the sense of how it must be walking in....

I see what you're saying. I think I should treat my stories more like a series rather than webcomic. I admit that I sometimes sacrifice quality for quantity. But that's why I'm trying my best to improve. :D Those are some scary looking mangaka. xD

What you have said really does make sense. I am trying to take it slow with my comic so as to not reveal everything at once really early on. It is hard, but character development is definitely more important than fast story progression. ^_^ By the way, your work is very lovely for the amount of time it takes you to produce. Bravo!

What you have laid out makes sense, I debated the pros and cons and decided to treat my material as though it were headed for print someday. I don't act as a proper webcomic, but then, I pursue a direction with my art that is considered old school. Which doesn't mean anything to people who have no need for labels. What am I saying? Nothing important. Do your thang and don't look back, unless it's to chuckle!
