Well there you have it folks. Maybe not the information about Matt's past you were looking for, but certainly some insight into his possible future!

I know there's a lot of “getting to know you” type stuff in this first chapter, but I think a little character establishment can go a long way. I've just started laying out chapter 2, and… well… I think it's gonna be pretty cool! But, in the mean time, plenty of goodies: Tuesday we'll check back in with the haps on Pthomar and see what kind of fallout was caused by page 11, and the following week… the big cheese himself! (Speaking of cheese, did anyone else catch a certain couple of dairy products in the current issue of Hack/Slash?)

And hey, I added MastorisM to a couple webcomics lists, and I've seen quite a surge in page views since then. Cool. Howdy to all you new folks, hopefully a couple keepers out there. If you non duckers (or even you duckers) want to yell at me, I've added a “non-dd” email link right above the comments. I'd love to get email, and hey… I'm going to be putting Chapter 1 (er… issue 1) together for print, so if I get some emails, I might compile them into a letters column for the book… who knows? Harass me!
