Pthomar Trouble - Page 17

Before Iba says anything… I KNOW, but despite all better judgement, I allowed this Adam West moment to transpire. Who knows! It's a whole other universe! The envelope is a better explanation for automatically getting in uniform than, say… sliding down a pole! Truth be told, I really didn't want to waste any time showing Matt off as a Mastor, so there you have it…
And yes, now you know, he did pass through (was there really any doubt?!?). This page is a little low on dialog, but I think it shows plenty…. Plenty of dialog coming up, anyway, Thursday, as we get to meet the BIG GUY himself: THE PHANTOM LORD!
Woo!
See you there!

Iba - Okay, hehe... Just seemed like the sort of thing you'd call out, I was just trying to beat you to the punch! About the white eyes, originally, most, but not all, Mastors had the white eyes (the original version started in 1993, so that was almost requisite in character design). In updating the characters, I felt that, to keep things consistent, ALL MASTORS needed to have the white eyes (or maybe they're off-puce, we really don't know since the comic is B/W, huh?), as an effect of being a Mastor. Some of this will actually be worked into the story in the future.... We ll See - True enough! Could have been a great place for a complete left turn! But alas, no. Always1961 - Tomorrow! DAJB - Yes. My life is essentially dedicated to paying him back. ha! Jabali - I think so too, the more I thought about it, the more it seemed okay. There was a nagging part of me that felt like it was kind of "cheap" but, I mean... I don't think people want to see them going to a locker room or something! I was never a huge STNG fan, but, admittedly, I thought Q was cool, and I would catch his episodes from time to time. Mike Allred (Madman) is on of my all time faves, so its no surprise that those little influences might pop up here an there! I do see the similarities in that panel for sure (stepping back a bit). And yes, of course, I am having a lot of fun with this comic... the most fun doing a comic in a LONG time, I really feel on track and at home doing this one which is good, and even better people, like you, are seeming to dig it, so that's extra good! Thanks! legacyhero - You're absolutely right! Thanks for the compliment, I always dig your comments. jazzcop - Speechless, huh? heheh... Thanks for checking in and reading, everybody! Also thanks for all the comments, I love the feedback/interaction! See you tomorrow with... THE PHANTOM LORD!

Pretty fresh...no comment beyond that for now!

The good thing about comics is that sometimes you can let the pictures do the "talking". I like the use of solid black areas on this page!

I totally agree with the decision. To me is very logical that a being that can move or 'slide' thru time or dimensions can change clothing automatically. I always loved the "Q" episodes in STNG (star trek next generation) and how he change clothing with just a "finger snap". I also like the looks, I must admit that he reminds me of Madman but just when he said "I feel good". Anyway, it shows that you're having fun doing this comic and that's always good. Can wait to read more.

No point fighting it. We all owe so much to Adam West!

I honestly wasn't going to say anything. I didn't even notice at first. I just noticed for the first time that none of them have pupils or iris'. It gives them a really otherworldly and strange look that I like a lot.
