One thing working on this project has taught me, I have *no* idea what the night sky actually looks like… I've lived only about an hour outside NYC much of my life. I'm still trying to get it right, but trust me when I say this is a vast improvement over my original posting of this page ;)

Thanks for the feedback and encouragement! The original had almost no stars at all, this is a big improvement over that.

The sky is just fine. You may paint it darker and the stars brighter outside of big cities and big artificial light sources, but that's nitpicking.
