A hint of what is to come

As I'm too focused on writing the script for my next upcoming comic right now, I'm postponing chapter 5 for a bit, and instead leave you this week's update with another old art piece for this comic. It was originally meant to be the cover for another issue.

Since I'm still writing the story arc for that issue and it is probably not going to be exactly as this old cover page suggests, it will leave you, dear readers, with somewhat of a hint of what is to come beyond the “Spark in the Deep” story arc you've been following so far.

Originally drawn with traditional ink pens and touchpens on paper. And yes, this is from where the banner image of the comic came from, as you might take notice of looking at the bottom of this image😊

Your comic does work really well in black and white but I do really enjoy seeing your coloured pages as they have a very uplifting quality of their own.

Fortunately, the black and white is temporary. A short number of pages after this one I decided to switch back to color and have the black and white style be something I implement and experiment with from time to time throughout the comic.
