I swear, I'll explain why the boat's sprouting fire flowers later. There really is an explanation for it, I'm not just fumbling for plot devices, I promise.
I just can't have Guy explain it because… well… y'know. Guy.
?!

Nice job on making Guy look scared even though he's wearing a mask. You had to pull some Super Sentai tricks for that one I bet =P

Hmm. The poison mushrooms make me think of Mario: The Lost Levels, which was featured in Mario All Stars. They never released it on PC, unless you were playing a ROM. And I think it had more than six levels. Funny note, the skull on Palma's shirt right now is the same skull from the poison mushrooms in that game. And the Lost Levels were actually Mario Bros 2 in Japan. Derp. I think the only Mario games OFFICIALLY released on PC were crap like Mario is Missing, Mario's Time Machine, Mario Teaches Typing, etc.--like, educational stuff. Unless it was a ROM or fanmade game--there's a pretty huge community for making amateur Mario games. Otherwise, I really have no clue.

Ancient Samurai(s) keep hidden weapons (mainly throwing stars or smoke bombs) in a pocket-like fold in between their outer/inner Kimonos in the stomach or sleeve areas. Guy has clearly "adapted" this technique to store hidden weapons between his robes/chainmale of his sleeves. As for the fire flowers...I got nothing

I think it has something to do with the star energy running through the entire ship.
