Comic Title: Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
The Beatle’s heavily drug influenced album Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band was forty years old yesterday (1st June), and it still sounds amazing!
Thanks to everyone who leaves comments and reads this strip and votes! Musical Farm seems to have taken a bit of a fall as of late, maybe because the comics aren’t as funny anymore, but people haven’t been commenting as much, so if you read this please leave a comment and let me know what you think!
Look, The Beatles rule the Earth. If we can celebrate an album 40 yrs after its release and still love it: what's that say about present music genres???I'll be in Penny Lane & Strawberry Fields...Forever!
Fall?! I was away for one day :(
What a great drug! LSD in the 60's 40 years later: fun flashbacks!
Check this out..I call it a 5.
*bing!*
AND I think your opinion is just as good as the rest. Us fellow barn animal drawers have to stick together, you know!?
sidwick: maybe the greatest?! they are the greatest!
i mean c'mon! 40 years later and people are still listening to the albums.
i'm still waitin' for let it be on DVD.
C'MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!
people are idiots.
and fans come and go. believe you me. you should try it. go read some of your earlier work and look at the comments.
who the hell are they?! where did they go?!
meh.
i'll still be here! 'til i get a girlfriend them i'm off DD forever! ghehe, but until then keep makin' 'em just for me.
The original title of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band was Dr. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band! ...until the Beatles realized an American soft-drink company had rights to that name. No joke. True story.
Whether or not the Beatles were fully acquainted with the soft drink before they began work on Sgt. Pepper is still subject to debate. But bottles of Dr Pepper have been spotted in the Let It Be movie
Excellent soft drink. Great band. Maybe the greatest.
Awesome strip. I can't decide what my favorite Beatles album is, though. Sgt Pepper, Abbey Road, and Revolver are very strong. Actually you can't go wrong with anything in their catalog (though I usually skip Please Please Me).

Hey update. I had to read "Animal Farm" in school, and I finally get why the two pigs are Snowball and Napoleon. LOL LITERATURE IGNORANCE.
