Chapter One- Page 25

I appear to have outdone myself again. I hope it doesn't backfire on me. If you're wondering why this page is in black and white, it's mostly because I was painting gorgeous Fyline there, and wanted her to be in the page. I eventually formed the rest around her. Chapter two will be in all black and white. I think this page could be better than page 13.
So, this is the end of chapter one. Thanks for sticking along on the ride thus far, folks. We hope it only gets better with time.

Thank you guys. All I could think about whenever I woke up last night was whether or not you all would like this. :-) MetalLuigi- It's not harder to do black and white. I think it's a jump back to my old, old roots. I used to swear color wasn't my thing. Dangerfunk- Thanks, pal! Fitz- I'm going to see if it would indeed look as good. If it does, then I'll work on doing that in the future. Talekyn- They're what keep you coming back, I hope! Dueeast- Really? Hm... that's interesting, considering that was an afterthought, heh... DAJB- Thanks! I'm actually reading "Wicked" right now! BLNT- Cool, glad you like her. I think I have a crush on both my characters now! JMT- Yes! I topped page 13!

Great. The best way to end a chapter is with a cliffhanger and an artistic leap. You've done both beautifully.

The B&W plays quite well given what just happened. I have to agree with you...Fyline looks fantastic!

Great stuff. The B&W works - it gives it a Wizard of Oz kind of "return from the fantasy" feel. Looking forward to Part 2!

The first frame is your best Nadya to date, hands down! Great detail on the second but I'm quite taken with the first. :)

Black & white works great here. Kind of like all color faded with the situation getting dramatic. Though I think it wouldn't have been a bad idea to make Fyline's hair red and her eyes green - so that it stands out against the b&w more than Nadya's eyes. Plus, that would be three basic colors (RGB). But that's just a thought. You indeed have outdone yourself this time. The women look so real, and the background is a little masterpiece on its own.

All I can say is wow. Both Nadya and Fyline both look amazing in the black and white style. I think it's cool that you're thinking of doing that for the entire next chapter. Is it harder to do black and white? It looks like you'd have to pay more attention to where the shading and textures go. It still looks great though! I wish I could rate more than a 5, lol.
