# 29 No Time for Coolness
Evil Emperor Nick on July 7, 2008
Poor Sarah, those two just really don't care about important things like illegal magical items, do they? I was having trouble working on this one not because the art was hard, but because it was stuffy in my workroom (windows closed because of windy rain) and ants and spiders kept running up my leg! Actually it was just the one (giant, carpenter variety) ant and spider, the spider is still at large but it made me paranoid that there might be more ants, and they might get into my food and that's not cool. I'm not afraid of insects, I just don't like them touching me. So every slight tickle made me paranoid while I was working…most unpleasant. Ah, just saw the spider, it is now hiding under my scanner. speedy little thing! I like spiders, so the spider didn't get washed down the drain like the ant did. I guess I have a bias for the things that eat the lesser, more annoying insects. The spider has now been bottled and will be released.

Spiders are ou friends: they eat ants and flies and 'squitos and roaches... Well, the spiders in the States generally aren't large enough to eat roaches, but... yeah

I dont understand purses either... then again, my friends don't understand how i can have so much in pockets, hurr hurr.

How did....I just..... Do I always miss these now? Anyway, typical kids don't know what they're talkin' 'bout.

The expressions on this page look very nice. I also happen to love the floor tiling, which must have taken fur-ev-er to draw. It would for me :P I always find spiders in my bed... I tend to not like that. They get smashed. If they're other places, though, they live. But whenever I'm walking in the basement (where my room is) I have to stare at the floor because I've stepped on spiders many many times. Blech.

E-MA-ZING backgrounds! O_o Screw purses! Gimme the vintage magic items!

I didn't even realize this updated...*boggles* Anyway, I don't like bugs either..My house is invested with gnats..and flies. And they're more annoying then creepy crawlies. >.> Check your PQs again, when you get the chance, 'lright?

Yes, Save the spiders! (I get spiders all the time where I live) I hate ants...When we had to re-do our roof, I went outside ONCE, came back inside, was on the ocmputer for several hours.. Around midnight I found a giant ant on the back of my neck! It was creepy! So I understand the tickle-paranoia.

Oh, I know what you mean about being paranoid over insects. I got out of the shower 2 days ago, walked into my room and ended up wapping a spider in the face with my nose. I had to take another shower to get the webs out of my hair.

Evil Emperor Nick: Sorry, don't have one of those. I DO have one that allows you to make monsters...but unless you have permission of the true master, or ARE the true master of the item, the monsters tend to try to kill you...and are mostly generic humanoid monsters.

IHR: They don't need to be liked, they are popular. Incaros: Really? 'Cause I think I'd more interested in one that made like cotton candy or pop tarts myself. Insizwa: I am still hopeful the new cobra plants will take care of this problem IF they ever sprout. The Tim: I think it is probably burnt out if it is anything like the schools I used to go to. Rain Storm: Personally I like Lady Bugs. Amysmom: I'm afraid I can't speak to Amy's inspiration. CA: I'm 50/50 on spiders myself. It usually depends just where I find then and what they are doing at the time. Chameleon Kid: This is one of the old wings of the school so this has a more classic look. The newer parts of the school are less pretty I'm afraid. Raccoo: I prefer to the plants eat the bugs since they don't crawl around on my hot pockets. Red Slayer: Legacy is no Vinal Vellony. Eirikr: Save the spider, kill the butterflies. :P

I dont think I like those two...
Incaros at 4:50AM, July 10, 2008
The problem with her plans is that kids just don't appreciate powerful artifacts. Unless they can see them cause untold devastation or something.
Insizwa at 4:23PM, July 9, 2008
Killer page, sorry to here about the ant trouble. I am also biased towards certain insects. I usually will try and save spiders while flushing out potato bugs.
TheTim at 4:10PM, July 9, 2008
Yeah, I haven't cared too much about clocks for some time (Ha!) That school has some pretty bitchin' ceiling tiles! I also like how one light is out. I'm not sure if it's burned out, or if it's turned off due to budget cuts...
rain storm at 9:53AM, July 9, 2008
Yup, for me, the ants are just annoying, so they're squished, while the spiders who eat mosquitoes and other nasties are relocated ^*^. Yeah, mosquitoes are nasty, and the bird-eating spiders. They're huge! Like... I'll stop now. ^///^
Amysmom at 8:50AM, July 9, 2008
Beautifully done,Mrs.Stroffolino I love the ceiling design , a bit reminiscent of the "Artworks" office in Eastown is it not?
chocolate_addict at 5:48AM, July 9, 2008
your art is beautiful... I love it :) I find ants very annoying and I also kill them but I leave the spiders to live ;)
Chameleon Kid at 4:59AM, July 9, 2008
I would've just squished the spider...^///^ I squish any bug in my room with my trusty sneaker--the stains it has amassed on the bottom is astounding! (0_o) Man, the design for the school is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! *,*
Raccoo at 1:06AM, July 9, 2008
Hehe, I let the spiders stick around to keep down the other bugs. =) What I hate are the big humpbacked crickets. They are disgusting looking, and big. And mosquitoes, of course.
Red Slayer at 10:57PM, July 8, 2008
Legacy cd's. Isn't Legacy a band? I'm initiating a protest: [FREE SPIDER!] .....| ..\o_| ...| ../\
Eirikr at 9:57PM, July 8, 2008
Saving the spider? How Buddhist of you, yes.
jay raj at 9:33PM, July 8, 2008
Fricking beautiful art Amelius. I've still got to read over the short archive of Night School, but it looks like it'll be a fun ride. But first I need to sleep. Then work ... :S
