Page description:
So Ace comes back, and gets a job as test pilot on a tromper, Cc gets in with the crew working on the land ship, and Piny chats with Betty and Colin (or Colon? I don't even know anymore…), about the progress that's happened.
Commentary:
I loved doing the detail and shading effects here, but I can't help but think the balance of the page is off… while the dialogue and pacing seems a bit awkward. I don't know to be honest. I've been working on the page for so long I can't look at it with any sort of balance or objectivity anymore and I just wanted to finish it!
The golden rule is NOT to criticise your own work because it down-sells it and makes it look worse to people; beginner artists do that a lot because they don't know any better and they're often humbly fishing for compliments…
But I don't care at this stage. Something has gone wrong here and I'm not sure what.

To me, it seems like it could be two separate pages. One of each moment in time. The later.. could be the second page .I typically breakup scenes by page if at all possible, to aid the pacing. Just my two cents.

For a printing version, maybe it is a good point of view. But webcomics have larger pages, haven't they? (I'm asking because I'm new with webcomics.).

That's a good idea. Maybe even 3 scene pages. This is a bit too compressed.

"while the dialogue and pacing seems a bit awkward." I'm not a native English speaker nor a lettering girl expert with balloons and speeches. But, for me, the dialogue and balloon composition is flowing very well.

another masterwork! always exciting to see a PTA update! the lighting is what jumps out at me. It all feels like a vintage adventure. Love that car, too!

Thanks man, that's always the feeling I want to give. :) I should show close ups of things like the car... There's way more detail in even the tiniest one on the page than what can be seen here.

OMG! It's an update!!! YAY! Stunning page as always! "The golden rule is NOT to criticise your own work because it down-sells it" - I agree, I double agree. Sometimes artists have to think as businessmen: Finished is better than perfect. Because "perfect" doesn't have parameters.
