Now that he has set himself up in the monk's temple, the Pirate captain decides to start attracting more crew members to help him eat up all the monk's resources. He uses a silver coin as bait, reeling in the children of the peasants and fishermen which are supposed to be helping with the harvest. It's a lot more fun to lie in the sun, drinking rum and eating the monk's food, than it is to work in the fields bringing in the harvest.
