Poe is a magic user who just got powers. The whale is a teacher named Walter at magic
school stuck in black whale form. KRULL
is the para- military witch organization that tries to shoot them in laser-wand
battles to drain their powers. The fight
for justice must prevail!

Author's Note: Pumpkins are a sub-type of melon. Of is often considered a fruit and one is not. At the time I was writing this comic, I was having health issues with back pain. Drawing you can do lying down in pain. It tended to awaken my inner sense of humor. Humor often comes from the tragic, remember the coyote in the road-runner cartoons? Bet he wasn't too happy to fall off cliffs all day, and never get that darn bird.
