alright….i have to man up here. i short cutted a lot on this page. i had a hell of a time re-capturing the melting of Jeremiah with the energy ray. i wanted it to look like somewhat like the original page….minus haysoose and lame assed jokes i had crammed into a one page panel. so i tried to draw this page 3 different ways, and i finally just said, f**k it. and i went with this design layout, which is very faithful to the original page. BUT i took a short cut and just scanned my final pencils and didn't actually ink this page.
i admit it. i'll own up to my own lazy ass. i just couldn't bare to look at this page any longer.
anyway, Jer's smoked and Jeff is ready for madness…..

I wouldn't've been able to tell you just darkened your pencils if you hadn't've said so. I think the reason so much was going on in the original page was because Powerjeff hadn't quite 'evolved' into a proper comic yet. They were just a bunch of single gag pages for a bit. In fact, page 1 wasn't even drawn until AFTER pages 2, 3, and 4, I do believe. You were kinduv good-naturedly getting back at Jeremiah for mocking your pal Jeff so relentlessly, but then Jeff was kinduv a jerk to you about it, so you went and drew page 1, which was a bit more scathing (and immature) than the new version. ... I wonder if I should be leaving this top secret, behind-the-scenes commentary. "I AM ARNOLD SCHWARTZENEGGAR! WE ARE RIDING THE HORSES UP THE MOUNTAIN. NOW LOOK: WE ARE RIDING THEM DOWN THE MOUNTAIN."
