okay……here it is. i'm sorry for what this leads into. i'm truly sorry. we were kids, and this was funny then. this plot device is necessary for what “Jeremiah Fartmutant” later becomes.
i inked this page drunk…..as well as the next page. ENJOY!

I pine for the long-lost original Jeff Quest saga. I remember at one point that Jer made Jeff and David H. and everyone turn into realistic versions of themselves, where Jer actually sketched their faces out, and I remember David H. thinking to himself, "I never realized how much I looked like Bill Cosby..." I just about had a cerebral hemorrhage from laughing so hard.

for us at the lunch room table....it was racy. jer's original comics were a LOT racier than mine. i mean, the jeff quest series was epic in all proportions. had it not been for his retaliation depictions of chia sex, this travesty wouldn't even exist! i mean, powerjeff was originally my way of defending my friend's little brother "jeff" in a funny way from jer's harsh comics involving chia pets and vanilla ice, but "jeff" turned on me and put me on blast.......and thusly i drew the first and fourth pages of powerjeff. it sucks those old "jeff quest" pages are lost in time.... it is really funny to me how this story evolves over time. and how the side characters develope into the main "heroes" or a story about nothing but chaos. the first page of chapter 3 sets the tone for......"so, this is just a hurricaine of joke....some hit and some miss?" i LOVE that....and i LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE that my friends, and my readers contribute to the later stuff.

"Green Glands Jeremiah, Guh huh!" For those of the uninitiated, that's an actual insult that the real Jeff used against the real Jeremiah in biology class. He thought he was pretty clever. Oh, uh, this comic is a work of fiction, and any similarity between real persons and the characters contained therein is strictly a figment of your overactive imagination. Yeah... the fart jokes... I remember these were so funny back in 9th grade. But then, you have to keep in mind they hadn't quite worked their way into maintstream comedy yet, especially within comics and animation. Powerjeff at the time was pretty racy, if I remember correctly. Well, mildly racy. Or maybe not so racy at all. I'm gunna go watch My Little Pony now.
