Actually, except for the mangled 'tachi' (立) element, your 'ryuu' looks pretty great. The original brushwork may have been a little sloppy to begin with (which I've commonly found with brush-stroked kanji). But then, I'm not Japanese.
ghost: i'm feeling better today. no more achey, breakey json. just lots of boogers.
Jason: you read my mind. i went with the more complex kanji for design's sake. and i tried to copy it from an ink painting stroke lesson i found online.....but i was never good at kanji. yuko use to say it looked like a child's handwriting.
Stick: yup, that's a little dragon keychain. that's what was in the little, explosive egg Jason threw. it was supposed to be overshadowed/overpowered by the design of the "Dragon Magic".
that said, 266 is 'shopped and ready for weds!
This looks really great, Json. I think you kind of fudged the upper left 立 radical in the 龍 kanji, but I doubt many people will notice. Also, 竜 means and is pronounced the same as 龍, but I don't think it would have looked as cool.
