Chapter 01 Page 16

It's sky! It's real blue sky! The fact that I got to use a color other than green is the most exciting part about this page for me. =D. This page gave me so many issues, I really, really never want to see it again. Oi.
Assuming everything updates correctly (oh how I distrust these automatic updaters) there should be a new sketch of Aisha available as a TWC vote incentive.
Also, in the forum, there's an opinion question for those of you that don't mind reading semi-minor spoilers and would like some input into the style the series will have in the upcoming chapters.
And.. that's it! =D

Say it enough times and it WILL happen! :P lol

The sky looks cloudy - all full of fluffy cumulo-nimbus clouds ... is a storm getting ready to break? I'm sure that would make everyone SO much happier with their situation ... Heh. Very cute use of the panels and frames to create the story on this page. Me likee :-)

That's cool how you layer the panels like so, I'd be bothered covering up all the art I did in them.

Very nice angles of the action sequences while the background are so nice! That lizard monster thing isn't quitting anytime soon! I have a feeling that it will jump!

Monster: "No don't jump! Oh great... there goes lunch... again." Great action sequance in this page. I hope she lands on her feet. XD

the artwork is breathtaking! too awesome ^^
Rina_ran at 8:56AM, Feb. 26, 2007
But the green is so pretty! lol, j/k. I know how you must feel...using too much of one color can make you go cross eyed after awhile. I normally have that problem with blue. Love the different views of the forest we get to see. You can really see how lush and beautiful it is. Your ability to use colors is awesome. ^_^ Well now...will the creature jump? dun dun dun.

A technique that works for me, when I do non-traditional layouts like this page, I'd move the 5th panel to the right a bit, make it narrower, so it didn't line up with the first panel above it. For me, indenting it means it's after the first panel. It flows better. Sharing the same vertical line, there is some ambiguity, not sure if the eye is to go right or down. And I'd probably let the last panel stick out a bit to the right, like the second panel does, to make the last panel obviously above the 3rd and 4th panels.

ian_feverdream at 8:43AM, Feb. 25, 2007
Nice layout with the overlapping panels. Nice Jump. I strangely like your rocks. You missed a chance to show flow, by showing the top of Aisha head in the top right panel. I don't know what you are complaining about the green for, you also got to use brown and tan.(grin)
Tantz_Aerine at 3:53PM, Feb. 24, 2007
This is wonderful. All your hard work pays off.
Ozoneocean at 12:25PM, Feb. 24, 2007
I was thinking that you'd get tired of green after a while. ^^ Lookin' good, I bet it'll jump...
Emperial at 10:43AM, Feb. 24, 2007
Money says it jumps!

Great stuff. Love how you do the thought bubble. Simple but effective. Nice job in changing up the angles for the panels.
