Hey guys finally got back from china. I know I said that I'd only be gone for a couple of weeks but when I got back my life went down the drain for two weeks. Actually it's still going down the drain but I'm sort of used to it now. I was also planning on putting up a special china bonus page, but the pictures aren't back from the lab yet.
Anyways this was actually the thirteenth page in the comic even though the title says page 14. I was really wierd but while I was drawing this page I was using one of those woodden drawing models to help me with a pose and then all of a sudden while I'm bending a leg the screw pops out onto my desk. And I was like “Heck that's wierd. OH well the screw has been coming loose for a while now.”
So I screw it back in and I start bending an arm–but then the whole leg falls out! And I just stare at it for a minute and I'm like WHAT THE HELL! The screw was still in the leg socket too. As it turns out what happenned was that the screw didn't actually connect to the leg. The screw held a spring in the socket and the spring was connected to the leg. So when I put the screw back in I didn't line the spring and the screw up. I guess thirteen really is an unlucky number.
Aereis: She figures that she has a better chance of escaping from Kai than she does of escaping from the saltmines. That plus she thinks Kai looks like a pansy.
moonelfchick: Thanks! But the fact that me and the person who draws fullmetal alchemist have slightly simular styles does help. I'm not as good with styles that are very shojo based.

hey guys sorry about not updating for the last few weeks. It's been really crazy with school and all and I got a new comp which is really cool but my old scanner doesn't work with it so then I had to get a new scanner. I'll be able to hook it up in a couple of days if not sooner. see you guys around and I hope you'll forgive me. -got rice

I'm getting teh felling that escaping from Kai is gonna be harder than she thinks. Btw, welcome back! How was the trip? I have a pretty dress from China. My grandpa got when he went there. My grandma gave it to me cause she doesn't wear it. It fits me ok, but I can't sit down in it! ^^

Yay youse back! Wow, you were in China for almost the entire summer! Heehee, that guy in the third pannel has a fro/clown hair ^^
