That's pretty possible. Normally puncture/impale-ment wounds bleed a lot less until you actually take OUT the thing imapaling you. Sorta like the object itself closes some of the veins and arteries that are leaking blood so quickly. But anything in the heart is pretty close-cut, even IF everything possible was done to prevent a quick death. even more-so for the brain...of course. :(

Steve was really one of my heroes. I really wish people would stip making fun of the man, though. I mean he put himself at risk to teach us all that stuff. But y'know you would have figured he would go in some way that just made you think "Damn." like getting trampled by seventeen elephants while wrestling a serengetii lioness. y'know? something I would tell my grandchildren about.

I thought he was a cool guy...a bit flaky, but cool. I have to say though..that stingray would have been my LAST choice if there ever was a "How will this celebrity die" pool.
