page 47. Even Glorreaka needs an assistant. Kulland, a talented soldier was promised a title if he helped Bridnea get the throne. Bridnea IV was impatient for Bridnea III to die. Gangrene from advanced diabetes just wasn't fast enough. Bridnea IV had an older brother who died in adolescence. If you think the child Bridnea poisoned him – such an innocent child? No, it was his mother. Bridnea IV was mom's favorite. Where's she? Locked in a castle. She's quite comfortable and gets anything she wants but can't leave. Don't want mom to get hurt. And Bridnea the ever dutiful and faithful son visits often. Well at least until he got married. It was her suggestion and he hasn't forgiven mom yet. This might be mentioned or it might not. It's among those details in the character background that really doesn't matter to the story so it isn't mentioned.
