PREVIEW: THE CONTINENTALS, PAGE 4

“Making The Continentals” begins it's “Rough Cuts” previews of the upcoming web graphic novel with a 12 page preview of original penciled layout artwork and corresponding script page excerpts (think of them as storyboards for an upcoming movie, only the movie is a comic) that will lead into the summertime debut of the web graphic novel “The Continentals: That Shape am I”.

PAGE FOUR: FIVE PANELS.
Panel One
Ext. shot: Streets of Westend. Night.
Close shot: Crowded streets of the posh section of the city full of top hatted men and parasol-carrying women strolling passed elegant shops, finely constructed buildings, restaurants,, and theatres.

Narrative: The Westend. Affectionately known as “The Heights”.

Panel Two:
Ext. shot: Streets of the Eastend. Night.
Close shot: The seedier side of the city with it's rogues gallery of “night people” of every variety drawn out by the darkness like roaches into a district full of bars, diners, flophouses, street vendors, and pawn shops.

Narrative: The Eastend. Not so affectionately known as “The Narrows”.

Panel Three:
Ext. shot: Back alley. Night.
Close shot of a misty back alley and two silhouetted figures (a man in a top hat and a woman) entering from the far end.

Panel Four:
Close shot of the well to-do man pushing the woman (a hooker) up against the alley wall as they're about to “exchange goods for services”.

Panel Five:
Closer shot, high angle, of the startled “couple” looking up at something terrifying above them and OFF PANEL.
