Hi!
Well, Makoto isn't trying to taste Hitomi's blood. She respects Hayate so much that she would give her life for him.
Also, note that she refers to K么katsu (Hayate's big brother) as “goshujinsama” which near translation is “master”. In fact, not many vampires call him by his name.
Well, that elevator leads to K么katsu's bar…

Pretty cool lineart. with the shadowing, do you use the smug tool or brush in the tones?

Thank you cdmalcolm1! I use the brush with default settings (talking about Clip Studio Paint) called 'transparent watercolor', also the 'airbrush' for making the transitions a bit seamless. Mainly, I apply a shading layer with the brush to add some texture, and if necessary, the airbrush. The 'smug tool' probably is the 'blend' tool in CSP. I use just in some cases because using it too much gives a very blurry effect but it depends on personal taste.

You鈥檝e improved a lot on the coloring. Now I鈥檓 truly anxious to see Makoto in her vampire form. And this kotatsu person, time to find out his true objective. Careful Hayate.

Thanks Chris, I really appreciate your comment :). About Makoto, well, she's always in her vampire form (as all the vampires) but maybe you mean about her abilities, which we could see further in the story. Even though K么katsu is Hayate's older brother, you're right, he must be careful.
