What's this? Another update, so soon? well, feast your bleary eyes, dear readers.
Page 15! mini milestone!
Actually this page is up so quickly because I was psyched about doing the cover of the samizdat. I went out and got some scratchboard for the occasion and everything!! I'm actually happy with how the scratchboard came out– I used a pair of eyebrow trimmers I had lying about. these things! because the scratchers cost like $7-$10 at the art store. NO THANK YOU!
(OMG MY KEYBOARD IS NOT READING ALL MY CLICKS! IT IS DRIVING ME MAD…)
Anyway, this cover– it's important ;) I won't spoil it yet, but it basically sums up everything in this comic. hehheh I love being cryptic; when the comic's over, YOU'LL GET IT! hopefully. Probably not. No one in my class did, except for my professor, and a friend of mine whom I told beforehand (but she was like, “oh how clever!”) hehehhh.
okay guys, no new incentive today (just little Kaz gazing longingly at a cepelinas) but vote @ TWC nonetheless! thx LUV U's!

thanks for the comments, guys!! der vossi: I am so flattered!! thanks so much. I love the illustrations from 'the little prince'. really, that's like the nicest thing you could say. tokyorose: thanks!! Theorah: hm.. idk I've never actually SEEN a samizdat. generally they were done on carbon paper, which leads me to believe that they didn't have ornate covers... but idk exactly how technologically advanced Lithuania was at this time. Did they have a cheap-o Xerox machine? hey, why not? ; ) idk, I would imagine that an early 90s samizdat would look more like a 'zine. that's my rationale.. Aghammer: thanks! and yes. I wish they'd sell it by the sheet! theprettiestpony: wow u suck. heart u hyena hell: what's lino? ryu & usedbooks: thanks & thanks!

I love the scatchboard! I've always wanted to try it; It reminds me of lino... (I've got a letterpress propaganda poster that I did, inspired by old communist stuff.)
