One love alone

I'm still trying to figure out a few things about the style.
I'm having a hard time fighting myself on the issue of simplicity. The less is more approach to this style goes against every fiber of my being, hence why I'm enjoying it. I like stretching myself as an artist.
There is a huge urge to make facial features for expression, rather then use body language. There is a desire to make hundred of tree trunks with branches along the opposite shore. Simple lines for setting and characters!
Strangely enough the opposite problem occurs with the words. I find myself in some cases wanting it to be like a silent movie. But the background for the story must be set and details must be included for the proper feel to develope. Wouldn't do to have people thinking she was his wife when the story starts with a mothers death.
